ComSym becomes VisualyseTM VAR

visualyse.gif - 9226 BytesTHE world's best radio-communication simulation product, VisualyseTM, is now available from ComSym.

VisualyseTM is a Windows-based software that models a huge range of radio-communications systems and simulates interference. VisualyseTM has found considerable use among LEO and GEO satellite system operators. It was the first product to have algorithms ratified by the ITU-R JRG 8-9, now embodied in Recommendation 1143, and is shortly to be the one of the first products submitted to the BR for ratification of NGSO-FSS EPFD calculations when the CPM meets in November 1999. Visualyse developers have been involved in the algorithm definition and continue to work with the BR on the problem of NGSO coordination.

Visualyse's structure is based on real world radio-communications situations. Satellite, terrestrial station and aeronautical station dynamics can be modelled, while interference, and link performance data are collected. Probability and cumulative distribution functions for all link parameters are calculated and charted during the analysis of dynamic scenarios.

VisualyseTM delivers visibility of all calculation details. All variables can be charted and plotted interactively. Advanced animation and visualisation options allow rapid interpretation of even the most complex scenarios.

ComSym packages the VisualyseTM product, training and consultancy in any required combination to provide a turnkey solution. Alternatively, ComSym can provide specialist in-house analysis services. It's a totally flexible approach designed to meet the specific needs of each customer.

Graham Starkie, Managing Director of ComSym said: "We are very pleased to be named a key distributor of this exceptional software product. Having used VisualyseTM on such projects as Paradigm and K-TV, ComSym has developed an essential skill base to maximise the benefits of this superior product. Whether the user acquires VisualyseTM for use in-house or requires associated technical consultancy service; together ComSym and VisualyseTM offer satellite and wireless system designers a tool for generating radio-communication simulations within a fraction of the time normally required."
